Top Gun...

As national signing day of 2011 has passed several weeks ago the focus has switched to the stars of the 2012 class. 247Sports has announced their first round of 5-star blue chippers of 2012.

Columbus East (Ind.) signal caller Gunner Kiel is first among quarterbacks to receive a unanimous nod as a 5-star player. Gunner Kiel is a 6-4, 220-pound Pro-Style Quarterback that is considered the best  of the bunch at the position. With good size, strong arm, tremendous accuracy and 2010 stats that bolstered astonishing numbers, he is worthy of the preseason accolades.

Kiel has recieved offers from as many as 22 BCS schools.

Mid America Total Sports will feature the hometown signal caller throughout his senior year campaign and signing day of 2012.

Is the first 10 yards of the 40 yard dash the deciding factor....

As we approach the NFL combine, more and more attention will be focused on potential NFL’rs 40 yard dash time. In many sports however very few plays involve an athlete running for longer than 5-15 yards. As S&C coaches do you feel 10 yard dash speed is more important to sports performance?

Does all come down to the first 10 yards?

Still the breakfast of Champions...

Wheaties FUEL was introduced (well to me) early in 2010. It has a lightly sweetend, crunchy whole wheat flake with crispy rice and a touch of cinnamon and honey. Wheaties FUEL is the first-ever cereal designed to help meet the nutritional needs of todays athletes. This cereal gives the athlete long-lasting energy, 100% of the daily value of B-Vitamins to help the body release energy from food. Each serving includes 210 calories, 16 grams whole grain, 100% of the Daily Value of 5 B-Vitamins, 5 grams of fiber, plus calcium and vitamin D. Wheaties FUEL is the new "Breakfast of Champions"

Columbus Indiana Wal-Mart Supercenters & Big Lots currently have Wheaties FUEL on sale for a buck. Thats right $1.00. Stock up, because I sure did.
